1930's. Top of Carlton Hill.
I think this picture was taken in the late 1930s. The pub Landlord in 1938 was Harry Dutton who previously play football for West Brom and Brighton. Harry was married to Lil Marsh (nee Burtenshaw) who was my aunt and is 4th left in the middle row. To her right is my Mum Nell Tugwell (later Phillips). To Lil's left is my Great Grandmother Flo Burtenshaw who lived in Glynde Road. On the back row extreme left is my maternal Grandmother Emma Tugwell who lived in White Street.
